Dragonlance Movie

For those of us that loved the Dragonlance novels, they are finally coming out with a movie. Well... it's a cartoon really. Old style animation even. Well, a 2D/3D hybrid. Tracy Hickman expressed that he was excited about it being in old style animation because they would have to focus more on storyline with the lack of specials, but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I see his point, but... I really wanted to see a live action movie anyway.

As for the voices... a couple of surprizes here for me...

I liked the movie... but I was disappointed of course... There was so much info that was left out... I understand that not everything can go into a movie that was in a book... but.... idk... I was expecting more... I shouldn't have... I did....

I really tried not to expect too much, but I was disappointed, too.  It's still cool that it was finally turned into something, but I hoped for more.  I can understand the things they changed and left out for the most part, but the artwork left a lot to be desired.  The draconians were just... really out of place.  They looked horribly rushed and poorly pasted in.

I still love Dragonlance though.  Still have several books I need to read, too.    And you need to catch up!

I know exactly what you mean.

And yes, I do need to catch up... but there are SOOOOOOOO many things I have to read and most I don't have time for. I still have to FIND and READ Queen of the Damned. ...lol. I miss Lestat... lol...

Oh, and btw... Jason is too close to James... I was scared for awhile when I saw that....

Bah!  You can read a book a week and read everything we have in the house in just a couple of years. 

Sorry, I wish I still had Queen of the Damned.  Some people don't like to give books back.  That's why I don't loan out books anymore.

lol... I can't read that fast. And some people also like to borrow books without asking.... and hide them around the room.... anyway...

When I thought Caitlin's book was stolen in the Newspaper room... Someone had moved it behind some stuff.

OH!  You didn't tell me that.  I thought it was still missing.
